Sanosuke drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Adolfo Uchiha is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Sanosuke doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Uchiha throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sanosuke stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
A jab lands there for Uchiha.
Uchiha lets loose with a powerful body kick. Sanosuke will feel that in the morning.
Sanosuke is breathing heavily.
Uchiha rushes Sanosuke with punches - Sanosuke moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Sanosuke goes down! Uchiha follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Chang shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bird's guard.
Bird working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chang doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Bird is tightening it up a little... Chang has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Chang reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Chang taps out! Nice BJJ there by Bird!

Lygre uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Green.
Lygre drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Lygre loads up on a big right hand but Green slips the punch.
Green rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lygre counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Green thinking.
Green wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Lygre moves out of range as Green strikes.
It seemed like Lygre was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Green closes the distance and clinches.
Green scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Green lands a hook that snaps the head of Lygre backwards.
Lygre can't break the clinch.
Green stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Lygre tries to break the clinch but Green is controlling the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Garrett connects with a stiff jab that staggers Nakatani - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
