The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nippon throws a hook but Grigorian blocks it.
Nippon closes the distance and clinches up with Grigorian, looking for a takedown. Nippon pushes Grigorian against the cage but Grigorian circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Grigorian slips a straight right by Nippon.
Nippon dodges the punch combination from Grigorian.
Grigorian takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Nippon lands the left hand.
Nippon thuds his right hand into Grigorian's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Grigorian rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nippon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

It looks like Hajime Nippon has been cut.

Bravo drops back looking for a leg! Pradana is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pradana manages to kick Bravo off! Bravo jumps back into Pradana's guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Bravo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Bravo has an Americana. Pradana didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Bravo is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Bravo hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Vanorden cracks Boaler with an uppercut from hell and Boaler crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Vanorden's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
