And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jaycen Solo!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Damien Edna and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kiran lands a leg kick that knocks Solo off balance momentarily.
Ovidio Kiran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Solo has Kiran up against the cage in a clinch.
Solo tries to score a body lock takedown but Kiran shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Kiran's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Kiran works Solo's body with a nice hook.
Solo scores with a hook to the body. Kiran takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Kiran fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Solo manages to avoid it.
Solo closes the distance but Kiran moves to the side
and Kiran counters with a stiff right hand.
Kiran misses the jab.
Solo changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Solo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Solo slips a jab from Kiran.
Kiran has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts in the buildup to the fight.
Kiran leaves Solo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Kiran swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Ovidio Kiran has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaycen Solo.

Kiran slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
