Corona throws a body shot but no joy.
Corona fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Barbosa just misses with a punch to the body.
Nice defenses there by Barbosa.
Corona cracks Barbosa with an open hand slap.
Corona throws a good cross that connects.
Corona misses with a straight left.
Corona lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Barbosa at a distance.

Juan Corona seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close second round but I would say that Juan Corona will probably get the nod.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Barbosa lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Corona tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Barbosa slips a straight right by Corona.
Barbosa has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Barbosa there as he acknowledges the shot.
Barbosa stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Corona pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Barbosa's corner calls for a 1-2. Barbosa obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Barbosa cracks Corona with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Corona tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Barbosa pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Corona is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Barbosa!
