Karelin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Schrute looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karelin scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Schrute to see if he's OK.
Schrute is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Karelin postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Schrute takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Karelin has hold of Schrute's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Schrute tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Karelin cranks the arm and Schrute screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Schrute, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
