The Bavarian lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The Bavarian gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Doe gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! The Bavarian is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryan Thompson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Peter Branson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall throws a leg kick but Thompson moved away.
Hall has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Thompson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Thompson's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Thompson duly obliges.
Thompson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hall.
Hall blocks a head kick by Thompson.
Hall tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Thompson manages to circle out of the way.

Hall has Thompson up against the cage in a clinch.
Hall definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Hall is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Thompson throws an elbow that misses.
Hall looking to stall.
Thompson misses with an elbow strike.
Thompson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Hall jumps into guard, dragging Thompson to the mat.
Thompson stays in close to Hall's body and controls the position.
Hall manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Thompson manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Hall is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Thompson is just riding it out for now. Hall eventually gives up the hold.

Hall is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Thompson is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
