The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Adams.
Adams looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A bone on bone clash there as Adams blocks the leg kick.

Power forces Adams back against the cage and clinches.
Power definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Power pulls guard successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Adams wants to control from the top but Power keeps moving.
Power is pulling down on Adams's head to control his posture.
Power lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Power might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Power's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Power tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Power postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Adams looks a forlorn figure.

Power shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Adams as he jumps to the side.
Horrible takedown attempt by Adams or perhaps it was just good defense by Power, which made it look bad.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Power in particular looking to stall.

Adams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Power is working for a rear naked choke. Adams is not defending it well and Power has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Adams refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Adams's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Verdins changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nowak tries to avoid it but Verdins manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nowak to the ground. Nowak escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Nowak throws an elbow but Verdins slips to the side and avoids it well.

Nowak tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Nowak is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Verdins knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Rhod moves into range and clinches up with De Moncey.

Rhod escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

De Moncey tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rhod just stands there and leans against the cage.

Rhod connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Rhod darts in and clinches De Moncey up against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Rhod.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Rhod here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
Rhod lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of De Moncey backwards.
Rhod goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Rhod breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Rhod rushes De Moncey and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rhod lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
De Moncey blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Rudy Rhod has scored more points in the clinch so far.
Rhod lands a left hand.
Rhod misses with a punch on the inside.
A head punch blocked on the inside by De Moncey.

Rhod breaks from the clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
De Moncey dives in for a single leg takedown but Rhod sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Rhod drops De Moncey with a beautiful combination! De Moncey stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Rhod is looking for the KO!
De Moncey is rocked!
De Moncey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rhod is fending him off so far but De Moncey persists. Nope, Rhod circles away and we're back to standing.
De Moncey is still on wobbly legs! Can Rhod finish him?
Rhod ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with De Moncey's jaw. De Moncey's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Rhod does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:12 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rudy Rhod!
