Caruga shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Caruga was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Caruga is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Hoyle knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Hoyle tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Caruga cranks the arm and Hoyle screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Hoyle, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
