The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adams closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Laizel quickly recovers to half guard.
Adams really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Adams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Laizel with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Laizel looking for submissions off his back.
Laizel moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Laizel is looking to cinch up a triangle. Adams throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Laizel's body to avoid the submission. Laizel has instead reached around Adams's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Laizel arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Casius Laizel was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Covail cracks Graham with a good jab.
A jab from Covail does it's job there.
Covail feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Graham s jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Graham shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Covail sprawls well. Covail wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Graham gets slowly back to his feet.
Graham walks into a stiff left hand from Covail.
Graham takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Covail looks to land a left hand but Graham moved out of range nicely.
Covail flashes Graham a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Graham 's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Graham crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Covail punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

Lang will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boma, as that shot connected.
