Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dar Jee (ranked 3993 p4p, 2985 weight class) and Romeo Del Gaiso (ranked 240 p4p, 188 weight class). Jee comes to the cage accompanied by Everybody Knows My Name. The crowd seem to be enjoying Del Gaiso's choice of entrance music: Deorro, Elvis Crespo & Henry Fong - Pica. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Cortez lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Trinaldo at a distance.

Trinaldo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Cortez lands a left and a right that send Trinaldo crashing to the mat, dazed. Cortez thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Cortez circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Trinaldo to the canvas! Trinaldo doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Cortez keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

After the fight, Don Cortez was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
