Gracie feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 28 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Christophe Dupree!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Chris Dean and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupree throws a poor cross that misses
and Outlaw counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
The Devils Outlaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dupree takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
It looks like Christophe Dupree has been cut.
Dupree misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Outlaw.
A nice leg kick from Dupree, right into the meat of the thigh.
Dupree lands with a good body shot.
Dupree throws an off balance right hand
and Outlaw counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice uppercut lands for Outlaw. That snapped Dupree's head back.
Outlaw throws a head kick that misses.
A countering left hand to the body from Dupree misses.
Outlaw avoids the body shot from Dupree.
Nice straight punches there by Dupree. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Dupree.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dupree takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Dupree uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Outlaw.
Dupree changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Outlaw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Outlaw moves forwards but Dupree connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Outlaw fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Dupree is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Outlaw with a body shot.
Outlaw moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Outlaw staying out of range there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dupree scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Dupree throws a lazy right hand but Outlaw sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dupree slips under a jab from Outlaw.
Dupree bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Outlaw's head backwards.
Outlaw throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Outlaw throws a leg kick
and Dupree scores with a counter punch that sends Outlaw to the canvas! Dupree smells blood - he's punishing Outlaw with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Outlaw has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christophe Dupree!
After winning the bout, Christophe Dupree thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
