The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

One fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Madden to the ground. One is now in Madden's guard.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Madden stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. One swivels though and keeps the full guard.
One lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

One must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
