The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roy works over Lee's head and body with a nice combination.
Roy scores with a jab. Lee acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Roy uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lee.
Roy connects with a high kick.
Roy shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lee pinned against the ropes. Lee gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Roy rushes Lee and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.

Lee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Roy uses from the top position.
Roy is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control.
Roy has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
