The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herrera tries to clinch but Penduko moves out of range.
Penduko unleashes a big counter combination but Herrera bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Penduko closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Penduko is nestled in close to Herrera, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Penduko takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Penduko seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Anderson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Werner can pounce on him.

Oooooh!!! Werner has knocked Anderson down with a huge combo! Werner steps away and waves a wobbly Anderson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Werner is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Anderson hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!
