The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vollan throws a body shot but no joy.
Vollan looks to throw the jab but Luciano is out of range.
Luciano was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

Luciano connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Vollan momentarily.

and Luciano counters with a straight right hand.
Vollan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Luciano appears to be looking for a big counter.
Luciano throws a right hand that Vollan ducks under and follows up with a left that Vollan also avoids with ease.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Vollan! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vollan catches Luciano with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
It looks like Tony Luciano has been cut.
Vollan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Luciano swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Vollan throws a poor cross that misses
and Luciano counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Vollan lands with a shot to the body.
Luciano throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Vollan cracks Luciano with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Luciano tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Vollan pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Luciano is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
