Zimmerman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Ahonen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Zimmerman has managed to get both his arms back between Ahonen's legs - danger averted.

Ahonen escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Zimmerman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thorvald Nansen!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mack tries a head kick but it misses.
Nansen throws a jab when Mack was well out of range.
Mack throws a counter high kick but Nansen was just alert enough to avoid it.
Mack's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nansen under the eye.
Nansen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Nansen has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Mack has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Mack there as he acknowledges the shot.
