And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Corner Cutting!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Kang cracks Cutting with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Kang has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cutting to stand back up!
It looks like Corner Cutting has been cut.
Cutting throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kang counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Cutting badly! Kang follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Cutting out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Kang finished him against the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Xian Kang!
After winning the bout, Xian Kang thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Pena throws out a powerful jab.
Pena lands a slapping body shot.
Rollo shoots in and drives through. Pena sprawls well.
Rollo with a lazy takedown attempt
and Pena counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Rollo tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Pena counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Rollo thinking.

Pena moves into range and clinches up with Rollo.
Pena lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rollo backwards.
Pena lands a nice uppercut.
Pena throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rollos head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Rollo looks winded!
Rollo tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pena smiles and moves away.
Jose Pena has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Maurice Rollo.

Rollo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Rollo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Rollo stands and throws Pena's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Pena wings away with a couple of strikes but they don't land.
Pena's coaches at The Castle have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

Rollo tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Rollo prevents Pena from escaping the position.
Pena can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Rollo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Pena has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Rollo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Pena is looking to escape.

Rollo working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Pena turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Rollo off and cradles Pena's limp body as Rollo celebrates with his corner.

In his post fight interview, Maurice Rollo started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Hase connects with a stiff jab that staggers Butterfinger - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Kirsipuu looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Kirsipuu misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Rollo feints and then cracks Kirsipuu's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kirsipuu down.
Kirsipuu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rollo's waist but Rollo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kirsipuu off to one side.
Rollo throws a quick counter kick to the body but Kirsipuu avoids it.
Christof Rollo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anu Kirsipuu.

Kirsipuu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Kirsipuu lands in his opponent's guard.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kirsipuu crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Rollo - the referee stops the clock and Kirsipuu gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Rollo. Kirsipuu manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
