Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Patrick Beverley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Grayson Allen!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Anni Minnemäki and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Allen tries to clinch but Beverley moves out of range.

Beverley throws a big counter combination but Allen scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Beverley lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Allen backs up against the cage.
Allen takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Beverley fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Allen.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Allen wants to get up but he can't break Beverley's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Patrick Beverley.

Foao closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Foao thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mirando's head.
