The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Three with that takedown attempt.
Two shoots in looking for a takedown but Three manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Two's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Three looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Oh but Three is tightening it up a little... Two has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Two reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Two taps out! Nice BJJ there by Three!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Matthew lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Drozd up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Matthew from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Drozd's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
