The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matthews drops Smif with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Smif looks back up at him and smiles so Matthews waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Smif is rocked!
It looks like Laurent Smif has been cut.
Matthews throws a hook to the side of Smif's head but Smif sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Smif has an Americana. Matthews didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Smif is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Smif hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
