Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ben Simmons!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jax Chambers!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers's jab looks to have found its range, popping Simmons under the eye.
Simmons blocks a jab.
Simmons uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Chambers.
Chambers moves out of range as Simmons strikes.
Chambers appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Chambers moves into range and clinches up with Simmons.
Simmons misses with a body punch.
We've been informed that Chambers has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Chambers lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Chambers lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Ben Simmons has been cut.
Chambers tries to work over Simmons's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Chambers misses with a body punch.
Chambers tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Chambers blocks an uppercut.
Chambers misses with a hook from the clinch.
Chambers misses with a body punch.
Chambers goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Simmons misses with a punch on the inside.
Simmons has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Simmons breaks from the clinch.
Chambers chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Simmons can pounce on him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Simmons misses with a body punch
and Chambers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Chambers lands a big shot that drops Simmons! Can he finish him?
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Simmons is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Chambers stands and steps away. Simmons gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Simmons throws out a loose jab but Chambers uses good head movement to avoid it.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Simmons throws a lazy uppercut
and Chambers counters with a left and a right... And another left! Simmons is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jax Chambers!
