Redd closes the distance and clinches up with Thorne, looking for a takedown. Redd pushes Thorne against the cage but Thorne circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Redd has been working on his balance at LA Fitness, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Thorne.
Thorne is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
