The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes throws a body punch but Silva moves out of range.
Silva throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Barnes throws a jab but it's blocked by Silva.
A head kick from Silva lands but Barnes takes it in his stride.

Barnes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Barnes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Solomon Pruitt will probably get the nod.

Slam feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Lampi sprawling to the canvas! Lampi rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Slam finish him?!
Slam steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lampi.

Slam drops Lampi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Lampi looks back up at him and smiles so Slam waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Lampi is rocked!
Lampi is holding his hands too far apart here. Slam throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Lampi is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ben Slam!

After winning the bout, Ben Slam thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
