Gawain shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gawain showed some decent athleticism there.
Gawain wants to control but Danielle is keeping him busy.
Gawain is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Danielle is trying to maintain the position but Gawain is very close to passing his half guard.
Gawain is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Gawain is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Gawain postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Danielle is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gawain, into his guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Derrick Gawain will probably get the nod.

Gawain throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Danielle tries to clinch up but Gawain circles away and keeps his distance.
Danielle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Panadero working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dabanks doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Panadero is tightening it up a little... Dabanks has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dabanks reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dabanks taps out! Nice BJJ there by Panadero!

Boselli throws a strike aimed at the side of Mokaev's head but Mokaev avoids it well.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Boselli creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mokaev sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Allen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Allen fails to land a wild elbow strike.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Stubbs can do anything to dispel that myth.
Allen is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Stubbs is trying to escape and Allen transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Stubbs is forced to tap! Nice work there by Allen! Very nice indeed!
