The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Almeida. No joy for Sanchez on that attempt.
No joy there for Sanchez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Almeida throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sanchez's waist but Sanchez gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Almeida off to one side.
Sanchez throws a right hand that Almeida ducks under and follows up with a left that Almeida also avoids with ease.

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fedja Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Kovalov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Petrov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sentenced - Konevitsan Kirkonkellot. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?
