The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Nitro (ranked 3420 p4p, 3465 weight class) and James Rocksteady (ranked 448 p4p, 458 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Nitro might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rainmaker. Rocksteady is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Red Right Hand. The key to victory for Jimmy Nitro has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Blaydes thuds his shin into the meat of Bravo's side.
Bravo ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And Bravo tries to counter it with a takedown but Blaydes pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Bravo has hold of Blaydes's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Blaydes manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Bravo misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Puno steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Durand.

Puno cracks Durand with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Puno has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Durand to stand back up!
It looks like Jules Durand has been cut.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Puno connects with a superb combination that knocks Durand out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Puno before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Durand!
