Garnett throws a nice outside leg kick.
Garnett looks for a takedown but Cote sprawls well.
Cote scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Garnett slips under a jab.
Garnett closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cote circles away.

Garnett closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Cote manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Garnett seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Cote does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Cote wants to stand back up but Garnett manages to pass into side control.
Cote is pushing Garnett's head away, looking to escape. Garnett manages to hold on to the position though.

Gabonica takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Gabonica rushes Choi and presses him up against the cage.
Gabonica has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Choi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Choi is pressed up against the cage. Gabonica has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Choi down to the mat. Choi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Gabonica feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Smith must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Sakuraba looking for a triangle here. Smith is fighting it but it looks tight! Sakuraba pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Smith is tapping out - this one is all over!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Nixon lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Petrosyan has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Petrosyan and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
