and Blue counters with a good low kick that Swisa was not able to check.
Blue comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Shawn Gordon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Elrey Dorado!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dorado is looking to slow Gordon down with leg kicks.
Dorado lands with a hook. Gordon tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Gordon takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Gordon tries to clinch
and Dorado scores with a counter punch that sends Gordon to the canvas! Dorado smells blood - he's punishing Gordon with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Gordon has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Elrey Dorado!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Cisnarf Ounnagn!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Elvis Blanc and Trevor Gratis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ounnagn connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
It looks like Mike Hunt has been cut.
Horrible takedown attempt by Hunt or perhaps it was just good defense by Ounnagn, which made it look bad.
Hunt walks into a left hand.
Hunt fails with the takedown.
Ounnagn throws a lazy right hand but Hunt sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Hunt changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Hunt fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ounnagn to the ground. Hunt is now in Ounnagn's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ounnagn pulls Hunt in close to prevent any damage.
Hunt showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ounnagn keeping full guard, as Hunt tries to pass.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hunt's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Hunt passes Ounnagn's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Ounnagn has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Hunt thows a huge punch but Ounnagn dodges it nicely.
Hunt trying to control the action but Ounnagn is working from the bottom.
Ounnagn has his hands clasped together around Hunt's back. He's all about the action.

Hunt is working for a submission of some sort.
Hunt keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hunt wants to pass to mount but Ounnagn is defending the position.
Ounnagn wants to get back to full guard but Hunt has mounted him!
Ounnagn is looking to improve his position but Hunt isn't that keen on the idea.
Ounnagn wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hunt.
Hunt can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Ounnagn is looking to escape.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hunt looking to control and managing it successfully.
Hunt misses with a head shot.
Hunt is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ounnagn can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Hunt trying to control but he's not successful this time.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ounnagn is controlling an arm, preventing Hunt from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.
Hunt works his way to his opponent's back.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Hunt tightening his grip on Ounnagn, looking for the choke.
Hunt is looking to control Ounnagn but Ounnagn is wriggling around and keeping busy.

Hunt is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ounnagn knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ounnagn for a finish.
Ounnagn knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hunt on the ground.

Hunt has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.

Hunt looking to break Ounnagn's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Ounnagn remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Hunt will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

That's five minutes gone in the round.
Ounnagn breaks Hunt's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Hunt is looking to cinch up a triangle. Ounnagn throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Hunt's body to avoid the submission. Hunt has instead reached around Ounnagn's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Hunt arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 5:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mike Hunt!
Mike Hunt is the new heavyweight champion!
