The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nukem shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Smiff manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Smiff wants to sweep here but Nukem controlling him for the moment.

Smiff wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Nukem tries to lock up and control but Smiff gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Cole has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Sloan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Sloan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sloan bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Cole's head.
Cole changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sloan tries to avoid it but Cole manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sloan to the ground. Sloan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
