Kurtev lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Gomez quite badly. Gomez pulls Kurtev in close trying to recover. Kurtev postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Gomez on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Gomez doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Krisko Kurtev!
Krisko Kurtev is the new middleweight champion!
An out of breath Krisko Kurtev thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
