The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gayweather misses the shot to the body.
Gayweather cracks Smash with a right hand to the side of the head.
Gayweather walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Smash checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Gayweather fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Gayweather throws a sloppy head kick and Smash moves out of range easily.
Smash tries to counter with a takedown but Gayweather is quick to defend against it.
Gayweather throws a lazy right hand but Smash sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Gayweather throws a big shot that misses.
Smash is looking to clinch.

Gayweather clinches.
Gayweather working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Smash has Gayweather pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Gayweather manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Smash misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Smash could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Smash looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Smash uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gayweather.

Smash is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gayweather sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

and Gayweather counters with a crisp one two that drops Smash! Gayweather thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Smash to his feet! Smash is in big trouble!

BOOM! Gayweather lands a beautiful left hook that drops Smash. Smash tries to recover but Gayweather is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Smash lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

Siduka is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Gage is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Siduka rolls with it to try and escape but Gage cranks on the arm and Siduka is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Sanli feints and then cracks Takahara's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Takahara down.
Ryu Takahara seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Takahara shoots in and drives through. Sanli sprawls well.
Sanli tries a quick counter leg kick but Takahara is wise to it.

Sanli sends Takahara crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Sanli is motioning to the referee to let Takahara up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
It looks like Ryu Takahara has been cut.
Sanli moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Takahara throws a body kick that misses
and Sanli counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Takahara tries to clinch but Sanli moves out of range.
A solid leg kick lands there for Sanli.
Sanli fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Takahara.
Takahara on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Takahara is breathing heavily.
Sanli throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sanli lands a nice leg kick that just misses Takahara's sensitive parts.
Takahara walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Sanli! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Haviid, as that shot connected.

Nomura turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Haviid fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nomura manages to avoid it.
Avatna Haviid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Nomura pushes Haviid back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Haviid comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Nomura tries to throw a body punch but Haviid avoids it by throwing Nomura back against the cage.

Nomura is pushing Haviid up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Nomura has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Haviid uses from the top position.

Nomura looking for a triangle here. Haviid is fighting it but it looks tight! Nomura pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Haviid is tapping out - this one is all over!

We've been told by Corbin's head coaches at Tran MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Corbin takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Lascombe wants to clinch
and Corbin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Corbin lands a big right hook! Lascombe looks hurt but is still standing! Corbin lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Lascombe falls down and Corbin dives in with a huge hammer fist! Lascombe's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Corbin runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!

Iverson's coach down at Temple of Fitness was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Iverson's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Iverson thumps Thomas with a low kick.

Iverson throws a right hand that Thomas ducks under and follows up with a left that Thomas also avoids with ease.
Thomas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Thomas missing with a left hand there. Iverson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Iverson is looking to slow Thomas down with leg kicks.
Thomas throws a pinpoint strike between Iverson's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Iverson crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Thomas scores a great knockout victory!

Jackson has been working on his balance at Shinobi Martial Arts & Ninjutsu , so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Inganno .
