Main event

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Frank Dux (ranked 1089 p4p, 3597 weight class) and Slim Slow (ranked 60 p4p, 194 weight class). Dux comes to the cage accompanied by Bloodsport. Slim Slow told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Slim Slow!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dux drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Slow wants to get back to his feet.
Slow on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Slow felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Slow wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Slow really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dux. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dux working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
