Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anakoni Kai!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Bob on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
A big right from Bob misses.
Kai tries a quick counter leg kick but Bob is wise to it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bob tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kai was well out of range. Poor timing from Bob.
Kai tries to work over Bob's front leg with a kick but Bob checks it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bob throws a half hearted mid kick.
Kai throws out a counter right but Bob avoids it with no problem.
Bob stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Kai.
Bob fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kai.
A low kick from Bob is predictable there
letting Kai counter with a right hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kai keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Kai feints and then cracks Bob's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bob down.
Bob throws a hook to the side of Kai's head but Kai sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Bob misses with a kick to the body
enabling Kai to counter with a crisp jab.

And that's the end of the fight!
Anakoni Kai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Kai has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
