The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but King was well out of range. Poor timing from Foster.
King with the counter takedown but Foster avoids it easily.

King shoots in and gets a takedown into Foster's guard.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Foster changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. King tries to avoid it but Foster manages to keep hold of a leg and drag King to the ground. King escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
A looping hook to the body misses from King. Foster does a little dance to reset his feet.
King dodges the punch combination from Foster.

That was a close round but I would say that Lily Foster will probably get the nod.

King lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

King manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Foster keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
King has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Foster is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
King tries to score a body lock takedown but Foster shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

King has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Foster after a bit of a struggle.

Foster pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces King back to the cage. Foster follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
King misses with a straight right.
King stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and King wants it to stay on the feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Foster works over King's head and body with a nice combination.
Foster scores with a one two! King had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Foster drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I would just about give that final round to Matt King.

Well Rauta has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
