With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jean Duranto!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hideki rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Duranto counters with a stiff right hand.
Duranto tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hideki swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hideki throws a jab when Duranto was well out of range.
A big right from Hideki misses.
Duranto uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hideki.
Duranto bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hideki's head backwards.
Hideki swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Hideki definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Hideki tries to keep at a distance but Duranto has taken the fight into the clinch.
Duranto blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Hideki scores with a nice hook to the head.
Hideki swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Duranto misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Hideki pushes off an throws an elbow but Duranto leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Duranto pushes Hideki back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Hideki throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Duranto blocks an elbow strike from Hideki.
Hideki throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

Duranto throws a head punch that misses.
Hideki digs a right hand into Duranto's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Duranto's gas tank.
Hideki lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hideki creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Duranto with a big uppercut! Duranto tries to clinch up but Hideki pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Duranto to the mat! Duranto covers up and Hideki unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nagatsuki Hideki!
After winning the bout, Nagatsuki Hideki thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Jab, jab by Chegwin - just one landing.
It looks like Cody Rhodes has been cut.
Chegwin lands with a cross.
Chegwin lands with a shot to the body.
Rhodes takes one on the button.
Rhodes takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Rhodes walks into a jab.
Chegwin fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Rhodes on the side of the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Chegwin connects with a jab.
Chegwin comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Chegwin scores with a body shot.
Rhodes has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
That has opened up Cody Rhodes 's cut even more.
Chegwin looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Chegwin connects with a body shot that sends Rhodes 's belly button to the back.

Chegwin connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Rhodes 's hands.

The cut above Cody Rhodes 's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

and Chegwin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Rhodes moves forwards but Chegwin connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Cody Rhodes 's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Rhodes needs to keep his hands up - Chegwin had a free shot at his head there.

Chegwin lands a big right hand that sends Rhodes crashing to the mat! Chegwin stays standing though and waves Rhodes back to his feet!
Rhodes is still on wobbly legs! Can Chegwin finish him?

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Cody Rhodes 's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
