Roussel looks to score with a jab to the body but IronSide is just out of range.
IronSide doesn't manage to clinch there - Roussel circles away.

We've been informed that IronSide has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

The crowd seem to be enjoying Patterson's choice of entrance music: I'm So High. Nashville Pussy. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 11 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Conor Lee!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lee throws out a loose jab but Manfield uses good head movement to avoid it.

Manfield fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Lee to the ground. Manfield is now in Lee's guard.

Manfield avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Manfield wants to control from the top but Lee keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Lee has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Manfield can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Lee escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Manfield gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
