And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 39 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sota Sankari!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Frank Dennis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tate Iii paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
It looks like Sota Sankari has been cut.
Sankari looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Tate Iii connects with a nice cross there... Sankari is looking wobbly and Tate Iii recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Sankari to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Tate Iii jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 29 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Braddock!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Braddock rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Talbain moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Talbain misses with a body kick.

Talbain rushes Braddock and presses him up against the cage.
Braddock is defending well against a takedown attempt.

Talbain pulls Braddock into guard.
Talbain is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Talbain is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Braddock wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Talbain keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Talbain lands with a punch from half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Talbain not doing much here.
Talbain takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Talbain frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Braddock is trying desperately to improve position.
Talbain controlling the pace for now.
Braddock tries to improve his position but instead Talbain has taken his back!
Braddock is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Talbain.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Talbain has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Talbain looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Talbain looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Talbain is riding his opponent, not letting Braddock buck him off.
Talbain's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Talbain is cranking Braddock's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Braddock! He's tightened the choke and Braddock is tapping out!
