The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones throws a combination that misses

and Nkruma counters by clinching up.
Nkruma jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jones walks away with a smile on his face. Nkruma gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nkruma tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Jones paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A little jabbing left from Jones on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Nkruma looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Jones avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai throws a hook but Thuta blocks it.

Chai throws a hook to the side of Thuta's head but Thuta sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

and Chai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Thuta tries to close the distance and clinch but Chai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Chai slips a straight right by Thuta.
Thuta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Thuta looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.

A little feinted left hand from Chai on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Pyay Thuta dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Chai connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Chai plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Thuta to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Thuta just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
