With a record of 31 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mohammed Kahn!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kahn thuds his right hand into Garuda's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
It looks like Mantak Garuda has been cut.
Garuda takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Garuda misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kahn.
Kahn swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kahn wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Garuda moves out of range as Kahn throws a body kick.
A quick step to the side and Garuda tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Garuda is trying to break the clinch but Kahn has him pressed against the cage.
Kahn lands a hook that snaps the head of Garuda backwards.
Mantak Garuda's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Kahn throws a punch but it's blocked by Garuda.
Kahn goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kahn throws a head punch that misses.
A left hand lands to the body for Kahn.
Garuda misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kahn lands a nice shot to the body.
Kahn struggles to land a body shot inside as Garuda controls his hands.

Taneyev takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Machado fakes the leg kick and cracks Taneyev in the body.

Machado looks for the body kick but Taneyev saw that one coming.
Taneyev throws a big counter combination but Machado scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Machado lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Taneyev ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Machado moves away.
A little jabbing left from Machado on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

That was a close round but I would say that Valentin Taneyev will probably get the nod.

Wanderson Machado's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

Taneyev seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Taneyev is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Wanderson Machado's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
