The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Raven.
The Irritator bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Both fighters are only really looking to counter, so after a good 30 seconds of circling each other endlessly, the referee has stepped in and told them both to be more aggressive.
Draven throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Aloisio! But no joy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A nice inside leg kick there by Kai. That's going to slow Munson down.
Kai's coach down at White Eagle was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Kai's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Kai defending well as Munson loads up on a big left hand.
Kai replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Munson blocks it well.

Kai throws a looping overhand right but Munson ducks down to avoid it.
Munson feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Kai takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
A slapping leg kick lands for Munson.
Kai looks to land a left hand but Munson moved out of range nicely.
Munson quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
