A short body shot lands from Seigel as the two fighters clinch.
Seigel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Von Ver Huevan walks away with a smile on his face. Seigel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Von Ver Huevan crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Seigel - the referee stops the clock and Von Ver Huevan gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Seigel. Von Ver Huevan manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Seigel bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Von Ver Huevan steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Seigel. That one must have hurt.
Von Ver Huevan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
No joy there for Von Ver Huevan, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

and Seigel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Seigel fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Von Ver Huevan square on the jaw! Damn, Von Ver Huevan is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

Vice throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little feinted left hand from Takahashi on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

and Vice counters with a three punch combo that has Takahashi backing up. Takahashi nods at Vice to acknowledge the strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

and Takahashi counters with a good low kick that Vice was not able to check.

Vice throws a low kick but it's checked well by Takahashi.

Nice uppercut lands for Takahashi. That snapped Vice's head back.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Vice throws a looping overhand right but Takahashi ducks down to avoid it.

Vice uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Vice tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Takahashi is able to avoid easily.

and Takahashi counters with a crisp one two that drops Vice! Takahashi thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Vice to his feet! Vice is in big trouble!

Takahashi sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Vice's defenses. It connects perfectly with Vice's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
