Tijhoff seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Lykaios pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Tijhoff back to the cage. Lykaios follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Lykaios is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tijhoff.

Ruiz lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Goldberg feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Goldberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ruiz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Ruiz's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Goldberg is holding on here and Ruiz must be using up a lot of energy. Goldberg has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Ruiz gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
