The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tosen's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hohenthal connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Tosen scrambles back to his feet.
Hohenthal misses with a right hand
and Tosen counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Lennart Hohenthal has been cut.
Tosen moves out of range as Hohenthal strikes.
Tosen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hohenthal misses with a series of wild punches.
Tosen throws a big counter combination but Hohenthal scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Hohenthal rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Tosen counters with a nice uppercut.
Hohenthal is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tosen.
Hohenthal swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Tosen moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Hohenthal goes down! Can Tosen finish him!?

Tosen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hohenthal doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hohenthal manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tosen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hohenthal is aware though and is defending well.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tosen can't keep his opponent in guard - Hohenthal advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Hohenthal is looking to take a break and control but Tosen is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Tosen wants to improve his position but Hohenthal is controlling well.
Tosen has hold of Hohenthal's hands but Hohenthal slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Tosen wants to control the action here but instead Hohenthal manages to pass to full mount!
Hohenthal lands a heavy elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hohenthal pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Hohenthal has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Tosen's face.
Tosen tries to lock up and control but Hohenthal gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Tosen is working to get back to half guard.
Tosen wants to control but Hohenthal is having none of it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Hohenthal is trying hard to land a takedown here. Tosen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Tosen quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

and Tosen counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Hohenthal misses with a jab to the body
and Tosen cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
That has opened up Lennart Hohenthal's cut even more.

Hohenthal gets a clinch.
Tosen fails to pull guard.
Tosen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Hohenthal blocks an uppercut.
Tosen tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Hohenthal working aggressively here.
Hohenthal looking to stall.
Hohenthal wants a takedown.
Tosen putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Hohenthal in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Tosen tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mama Tosen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Hohenthal.
Tosen throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Hohenthals head.

Tosen has his foot on Hohenthal's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hohenthal works his way back into a safe position though.

Hohenthal is sitting in close to Tosen's body. Tosen has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hohenthal is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hohenthal is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Tosen.
