Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Garcia (ranked 5534 p4p, 3502 weight class) and Jamie Webb (ranked 268 p4p, 215 weight class). Jamie Webb told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Garcia shoots in looking for a takedown. Webb tries to sprawl out of it but Garcia keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Webb manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Garcia misses with a takedown attempt - Webb sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Webb throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Garcia scores with a sloppy right hand. Webb should have avoided that one.

With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of London, Zeke Titus!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Hrvoje Palmotic!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Joseph Jones and Dean Styles.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Titus misses with a looping left.
Titus tests Palmotic's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Palmotic goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Palmotic throws a half hearted mid kick.
Titus has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Slaughterhouze in the buildup to the fight.

Titus fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Palmotic to the ground. Titus is now in Palmotic's guard.

Palmotic felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Titus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Let's hope that Palmotic has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
