McGee really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Nice combo by McGee! Oh, that's hurt him - Vukusic falls to the canvas and McGee follows him into side control.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Sackett.
Savage throws a hook but Sackett blocks it.
Savage misses with a leg kick.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sackett.
Sackett fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Savage on the side of the head.

Sackett takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Sackett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Savage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sackett.

Sackett throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Sackett needs to keep his hands up - Savage had a free shot at his head there.

Savage rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sackett moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Sackett ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Savage moves away.

Sackett doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Sackett tries a head kick but it misses.

and Sackett counters with a straight right hand.

Savage might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Savage bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sackett's head.

Savage connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sackett. Sackett circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Sackett throws a sloppy head kick and Savage moves out of range easily.
Sackett connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
A decent looking cross lands there for Savage.
Sackett ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Savage avoids a punch combination nicely.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sackett, as that shot connected.
Savage looks gassed!
Sackett throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sackett moves away from the strike by Savage.
Sackett slips a jab from Savage.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sackett lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Savage has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Savage and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Sackett is looking to score with low kicks.
Savage is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Sackett had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Savage throws a jab but it's blocked by Sackett.
Sackett walks into a stiff left hand from Savage.
Randy Savage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Savage lands with an uppercut that bounces Sackett off the cage and back into rage.
Sackett swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Savage throws a big shot that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Sackett, right into the meat.
Sackett tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Savage swivels and escapes.

Savage is rocked!
Sackett lands a brutal uppercut that launches Savage off his feet! Savage tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!
