Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maman Suraman (ranked 4790 p4p, 5850 weight class) and Fyodor Zakrov (ranked 535 p4p, 585 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zakrov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Suraman checks a leg kick.
As Zakrov tries to get set, Suraman tries to push him back and clinch up but Zakrov manages to avoid the attempt.
Zakrov shoots in but no luck this time.

and Suraman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Zakrov shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Suraman napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Draxinger looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Horrible takedown attempt by Figa or perhaps it was just good defense by Draxinger, which made it look bad.
Draxinger displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Figa.
Figa shoots for a double leg takedown but Draxinger sprawls well. He's pushed Figa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mohan Draxinger has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Padre Figa.

Figa falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Draxinger smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Kuzmin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Kuzmin has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at ubergym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Kuzmin connects with a nice short shot to Cleese's temple.

Kuzmin arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Cleese's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
