The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kido closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ooldbekkink's guard.
Kido controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kido seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Ooldbekkink for as long as he can get away with.
Kido continues to stall.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kido's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Ooldbekkink tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Ooldbekkink really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kido. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kido pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Kido cracks Ooldbekkink with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Kido manages to capitalize on a mistake by Ooldbekkink to take his back!

Kido is working for a rear naked choke. Ooldbekkink is not defending it well and Kido has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Ooldbekkink refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Ooldbekkink's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Nurmagomedov closes the distance and clinches up with Payne, looking for a takedown. Nurmagomedov pushes Payne against the cage but Payne circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Payne lands a big uppercut and Nurmagomedov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Nurmagomedov looks OK. Payne waves Nurmagomedov back to his feet!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Payne drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Nurmagomedov's head, knocking him out cold! Payne is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Marx feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Jackson sprawling to the canvas! Jackson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Marx finish him?!
It looks like Kaboom Jackson has been cut.
Jackson shoots in for a double leg but Marx sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Marx keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Marx fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Jackson is out of range.
Marx pounces like a tiger and cracks Jackson with a vicious hook! Jackson is down but not out! Marx follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
