The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manau takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Manau looks to land a left hand but Markov moved out of range nicely.
Manau has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Markov finds it's way round the side to connect with Manau's head.
Manau throws a right hand that Markov ducks under and follows up with a left that Markov also avoids with ease.
Manau moves forwards but Markov connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Manau doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Manau looks winded!
Markov throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Manau on the side of the head.

Markov lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Manau sprawling to the canvas. Markov follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Manau hang on?

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Markov tries to stand but can't do so whilst Manau controls his leg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garces bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Garces is defended easily by Pederson.
Garces darts in looking for a takedown but Pederson gets double underhooks and turns Garces into the cage.
Garces jumps guard but Pederson stands there with Garces around his waist. Garces gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pederson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Pederson manages to end up in side control.
Garces's coaches at Thunder Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Petr Kuzmitch will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Petr Kuzmitch.

Akutagawa stuffs the takedown attempt from Caceres. Caceres gets slowly back to his feet.

Akutagawa is trying to break the clinch but Caceres is controlling him.

Caceres jumps guard but Akutagawa turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rickson Caceres. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Caceres swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Akutagawa is now in Caceres's guard. A big mistake from Caceres there, giving up the dominant position!

Caceres working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Akutagawa doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Akutagawa manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Caceres has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Akutagawa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Caceres has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Akutagawa has managed to get both his arms back between Caceres's legs - danger averted.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Caceres has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Akutagawa doesn't defend quickly enough and Caceres has managed to lock this one up! Can Akutagawa escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Caceres on a fantastic submission victory.

Rickson Caceres spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
