Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Bill Beukeboom (ranked 395 p4p, 21993 weight class) and Beta Tua (ranked 24 p4p, 692 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 42 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Bill Beukeboom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Beta Tua!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tua lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
It looks like Bill Beukeboom has been cut.
Tua swings for the body but Beukeboom moves out of range.
Beukeboom swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Tua gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Tua takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A big right from Tua misses.
A little feinted left hand from Beukeboom on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
A jab from Tua finds it's way through Beukeboom's defenses.

Tua drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Beukeboom onto his butt! Beukeboom pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Beukeboom walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
