Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Buzz Bullard (ranked 761 p4p, 470 weight class) and Jeremy King (ranked 57 p4p, 38 weight class). King has chosen Hail to the King - Avenged Sevenfold as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Buzz Bullard!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jeremy King!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bullard shoots in looking for a takedown. King tries to sprawl out of it but Bullard keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. King manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
King doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Jeremy King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
King thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bullard attempts a counter takedown but King avoids it well and moves away.

and King cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

King got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bullard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, King has managed to get both his arms back between Bullard's legs - danger averted.

King is posturing up here but Bullard has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! King tries to roll out but it's too tight and King has to tap! Slick submission there by Bullard!

Manu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Welcome to the Opera - Anyma & Grimes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nicky Manu was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
